Nepal Trekking - October 17 Day 12
Ghorepani→Poon Hill→Ghorepani→Deurali→Banthanti→Tadapani (Altitude:2870m→3470m→2870m→3500m→2660m→2540m)

4:45am, we are ready to despatch to Poon Hill in our warm clothing. The hill top is 600m above and we need to be there before the sun strikes its first beam on the surroundings. 10 minutes after start, we are already perspirng despite the cool fresh morning air. Along the trail are crowds of trekkers rushing uphill in order not to miss the dawn.

There are already hundreds of people on the hill top when we arrive. Spaces with nice view are fully occupied and there is hardly any good shooting places left for us. The next moment, the sun begins to shed its light on the snow mountains to dress them in golden colour. In less than a few blinks, the sun pops up entirely and lights up the sky and the landscape turns to normal. The crowd begins to disperse at around 6:45. Going downhill, there is still some late comers climbing up but surely they will miss the sunrise.

After breakfast, we hit the road to Tadapani which is 7Km away. Though a short distance, but we have to pass through a couple of small forests and climb up and down between 2500m and 3500m. After lunchbreak in Deurali, we walk some distances and arrive at Tadapani at around 3:00pm. If it is not the weather, we would have a nice view of Machhupuchhare at the hotel at sunset.
